What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Technician PACE position at Franciscan Health?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Provides bathing, oral care, grooming (shaving), urinary catheter and ostomy care; assists with meals and feeding; assists with positioning, ambulation, and mobilization; assists with elimination and toileting.
Screening/Collection/Recording Data & Information: vital signs, intake & output, weights, specimen collection.
Restocks patient room and unit supplies, performs equipment checks.
Transports patients by wheelchair, cart, bed, bassinet.
Answers patient call-lights, telephones, Vocera. Communicates and reports patient data and information to the RN.
QUALIFICTIONS
High School Diploma/GED - Preferred
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) License- Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support Program (BCLS)- American Heart Association- Required
1 Year patient care with frail/elderly in an in-patient nursing or home health setting- Preferred
