WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Practice Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
No Weekends, Evenings, or Holidays
Coordinates external/specialty appointments and procedures for all PACE program participants in EMR and informs participants, caregivers, and IDT of appointment details
Follows PACE IDT approval process for authorization of all external/specialty and follow-up appointments
Coordinates with PACE Transportation Supervisor to configure transportation schedule
Enters authorizations for all approved and scheduled appointments
Follows instructions of PACE Provider Services Coordinator related to claim/billing needs
Reviews and completes weekly claim pend reports
Communicates necessary authorization information to contracted providers
Receives participant bills and coordinates with offices to correct billing procedures
Covers multi-line phone in absence of PACE Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED- Required
Associate's Degree- Preferred
3 years Administrative or Scheduling- Required
1 year Healthcare - Frail or Elderly Population- Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association- Within 90 Days- Required
Driver's License- Required
Medical Terminology Course- Preferred
