What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perioperative Scheduler position at Franciscan Health?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Responsible for collaborating all preoperative studies such as labs, diagnostic studies, physician consults, etc. for upcoming surgeries and procedures.
Coordinate post-operative follow-up needs within the office.
Maintain the daily, weekly, and monthly surgery schedule within the office.
Coordinate surgeries and procedures with the hospital and outpatient surgical center on a frequent basis.
Promote patient education required educational needs of patient either in office or over the phone.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree Preferred
High School Diploma/GED Required and
1 year Healthcare/Patient Care Required and
2 years Experience in Healthcare Preferred
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire Required
