The IS team at Franciscan Alliance develops and implements a wide variety of systems and applications. Our work is seen in every department from nursing to patient registration, from accounting to HR. That breadth of work brings a diverse group of end-users. Our IS Educator works with them all to train them on the effective use of tools and applications.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Perform learner, goal and task analysis in order to define appropriate training solutions and identify any non-training issues.
Audit and review workflows and/or accounts/records for accuracy and compliance.
Work with the training staff and end users to evaluate the overall effectiveness of data in the training environments and act on recommendations for improvements.
Conduct analysis and use industry-standard practices to create a concept for layout and presentation of information in a way that takes into consideration users’ specific needs and mental paths.
Deliver train-the-trainer sessions utilizing Franciscan developed or vendor-supplemented material.
Contribute to the development of tools that measure and record the students’ mastery of learning objectives using industry standard development principles.
Create materials to provide on-the-job assistance with an application or skill.
Create materials to support self-paced or instructor-led learning events including, but is not limited, to student workbooks, instructor manuals, and course exercises.
Create reusable online and paper-based guides for the development of manuals, forms, procedures, and other user information products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Associate's Degree
Preferred Bachelor's Degree
3 years Relevant Work Experience Required
Instructor Application Credentialing - . or as organizational needs dictate
EPIC Certified - EPIC or as organizational needs dictate
