What you will do
- Patient Intervention Observes patient and intervenes as needed to prevent behaviors that may result in injury to the patient.
- Patient Communication Provides verbal support and reassurance to patients and their families by communicating with nursing staff to promote patient safety
- Job Duty Paperwork Documents within Epic any pertinent information related to job duties as required.
- Patient Services Records / reports observations and activities, provides verbal direction and redirection based on patient behavior
- Patient Information Communication Communicates and reports patient data and information to the RN to ensure appropriate and timely care is provided to the patient.
- Patient Monitoring Continuously observes the patient and notifies nursing staff of the need for patient assistance to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
- Troubleshoots Troubleshoots problems with equipment and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient monitoring of patients.
- Reports Ensures staff promptly report any patient risk incidents and grievances from families regarding service quality, acting as a liaison to resolve these concerns effectively.
- Patient Monitoring When necessary, monitors the patient at bedside and notifies nursing staff of the need for patient assistance or need to leave the patient's bedside, to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
