Position Description
We’re seeking enthusiastic and compassionate camp counselors for our adaptive sports camp! As a counselor, you’ll work directly with children in a supportive, hands-on environment, helping them engage in sports, art, and communication activities. You’ll provide assistance, encouragement, and guidance to ensure each child has a fun and fulfilling experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist children with physical support and encouragement during sports and activities.
Help implement AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) strategies.
Set up and clean up materials and equipment.
Work closely with camp leadership and therapists to adapt activities for each child.
Attend training before the camp starts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (no prior experience needed).
Strong team player, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Excellent customer service skills.
