Infection Preventionist/Education Coordinator
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and implement annual OSHA, JCAHO, and state/federal required in-service training programs.
- Observe and instruct associates in safety policies and procedures.
- Lead all infection control-related programs and serve as the Infection Preventionist for the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in nursing/long-term care.
This role requires a strong understanding of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
