Wound Care Specialist
This position requires a skilled professional who can oversee the treatment of residents with all types of wounds and ulcers. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing wounds, developing treatment plans, and educating staff on wound care protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement wound care treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Assess and consult for all residents with skin integrity issues as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding resident care.
Requirements
Education: Associate's degree or higher in a clinical/nursing area of study required. Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Experience: 1 years of experience in a clinical/nursing setting within the geriatric industry. Skills & Abilities: Strong assessment and documentation skills.
