Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day activities of certified nursing assistants.
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations
- Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents
- Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned
- Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer processes as required
- Assess resident status changes and notify physician and family or representative
- Transcribe physician orders to medical records and carry out orders as written
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in practicing state
- 1 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics
