Senior Nurse Clinician - Skilled Nursing Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Nurse Clinician to join our Skilled Nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and be able to provide direct care to residents while overseeing certified nursing assistants.
About the Role:
As a Senior Nurse Clinician, you will assess patient needs, administer medications, document care activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote holistic resident care. You will also have leadership responsibilities and participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the daily activities of certified nursing assistants and resident care associates in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and established company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned.
- Participate in admission, discharge, and transfers of residents as required.
Requirements:
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state.
- 5 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion when working with residents.
