Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assess residents with wounds and pressure ulcers.
- Consult for residents with skin integrity issues.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans.
- Administer wound care treatment.
- Assess treatment effectiveness and document progress.
- Communicate results and concerns to physicians and associates.
- Establish wound care protocol and identify high-risk residents.
- Provide educational needs pertaining to wound care.
- Prepare job-related reports.
Requirements
Education: Associate's degree or higher in a clinical/nursing area.
Licenses/Certifications: LPN or RN license required.
Experience: 1 years in a clinical/nursing setting within geriatrics.
Skills & Abilities: Outstanding customer service and bedside manner.
