What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Aide position at Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration?
One Mission. Many Opportunities. Come join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration mission and ministry. We are seeking a part-time AM (24 hours/week) Food Service Aide to join our team at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, WI. Visit us at www.fspa.org.
As a Food Service Aide you work with the food service team to create a positive and pleasant home for the sisters. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday. In this role you will:
- Prepare the cafeteria line for meal service
- Assist sisters, staff and guests through the line
- Clean areas connected to the food service area
- Prep for the dishwasher/wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans
- Assist with salad preparation
- Cook light breakfast items such as eggs to order as well as pancakes or French toast for approximately 10 sisters (we'll train you if needed!)
