We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Care Manager to join our team in the Sister's homelike care unit within the St. Clare Convent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing administration and will work with a team of nurses and ssistants to provide around the clock oversight and palliative care. The RN Care Manager must be a hands on servant leader who values compassion, collaboration and service.
Responsibilities
- Manage nursing systems and processes within the facility
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
- Regularly assesses each Sister's status, condition and needs. Communicates with SFP Health Nurse, Community Minister, medical providers as appropriate.
- Coordinate the overall activities of the floor with the assistance of staff and volunteers
- Prepares and posts work schedules. Coordinates timekeeping, payroll and PTO use for all staff.
- Develops, coordinates and implements plans, programs, services, protocols, procedures that effectively address the needs of the sisters.
- Attends and contributes updates of the floor to the Campus Managers meetings.
Position Requirements:
- Must have RN Licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Bachelor in Nursing
- 10 years of Nursing experience / with previous Supervisory experience.
- Exceptional leadership skills to guide the nursing team effectively
- Expereince in Geriatric Nursing
