What are the responsibilities and job description for the State Tested Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aides position at Franciscan Sisters of the Poor - St. Clare Convent?
The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide an exceptional level of care to a small group of Sisters at St. Clare Convent. The convent in a private home to the sisters (not a facility) and provides an excellent work environment. Scheduled shift is every Saturday from 11p to 7a with availability to pick up other shifts.
- Provides personal care and assistance to the Sisters based on each individual's needs and conditions.
- Assists in assessing needs and communicates changes in conditions to the Care Manager/designee.
- Serves meals and snacks for the Sisters.
- Completes laundry and light housekeeping.
- Provides a safe, clean and supportive environment.
- Maintains a positive demeanor, treating each individual with kindness, dignity and respect
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years relevant experience; geriatric experience preferred
- STNA Certification preferred
- Strong work ethic, self-starter
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
