The Franciscan Villa is seeking a qualified Child Day Care Teacher to join our team.
Job Summary
In this role, you will plan, schedule, implement, and supervise the daily program of developmental experiences for a classroom group of children. You will ensure that our center policies, as well as state and Youngstar guidelines, are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily activities and lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children
- Schedule and manage classroom routines and transitions to ensure a smooth and safe learning environment
- Supervise and care for children at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Maintain accurate records of child attendance, progress, and incident reports
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent as determined by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
- Level 9 on the Child Care Registry
