We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our team based at our corporate headquarters in Metuchen, NJ. Reporting to our Accounting Manager, responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and Variance Analysis.
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and update general ledger system.
- Process bi-weekly Corporate payroll
- Regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist with preparation of year end audit.
- Sales and Use tax reporting
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset system.
- Assist with preparation of the Corporate budget
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting along with 2 years’ staff accounting experience. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities. Advanced proficiency working in Excel is a must (VLookup and Pivot Tables).
Salary : $54,000 - $68,300
