Job Description:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Analyst to support our Sales and Planning teams to create and analyze POS data and work with customer replenishment teams.
Duties:
- Create and distribute POS reports using internal and external databases. Prepare comprehensive analysis of top-tier customer sales performance.
- Analyze forecasts of each product area against information and trends indicated by POS data and challenge any variations or discrepancies.
- Partner with Sales and Planning teams to help facilitate the completion, review, and analysis of commitment and new items.
- Evaluate sales levels and make proactive recommendations to maximize shipments from available inventory, which includes on-hand, WIP, and future reworks.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis of sales/shipments by customer, item, and/or brand.
- Update order history reports and analyze any gaps or overstock items to report to planning or customer teams.
- Meet with Customer replenishment team and align on strategies and best practices.
- Maintain report templates and optimize for future updates.
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in a sales analysis, inventory, or planning role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills which include lookups, index match, sumifs & pivot tables.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling large datasets.
- Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear, actionable way to both upper management and external partners.
- Prior Amazon, E-Commerce, or Mass Market Retail analysis experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Work on-site (in the office) 4 days per week.
