About the Position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis & Pickleball Instructor to lead adult-focused programs at Walsh. This role is perfect for a coach who enjoys working with adult players, fostering community engagement, and running structured yet fun sessions.
Responsibilities:
Tennis Instruction: Lead beginner & intermediate adult group classes (fundamentals, drills, match play).
Pickleball Coaching: Run introductory & intermediate play strategy sessions for adult players.
Player Engagement: Foster a welcoming, social atmosphere that encourages player retention.
Promotion & Growth: Encourage players to join additional sessions & private lessons.
Ideal Candidate:
Tennis & Pickleball experience (coaching & playing).
Comfortable leading adult groups in a structured, high-energy setting.
Strong communication & organizational skills.
Able to commit to a regular schedule (Tues/Thurs evenings).
USPTA or PTR certification preferred but not required.
