The Role

Frank & Eileen is seeking an experienced and dynamic Graphic Design Manager to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Senior Graphic Designer with strong leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality creative solutions, managing design projects from concept to completion, and ensuring that the design team is aligned with the company's goals and brand identity. This role will manage two team members and report to the Senior Creative Manager.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of graphic designers, ensuring high standards of creativity and performance.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage creative problem-solving and skill growth.
Manage design workloads, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality. Review and prioritize design requests, ensuring team bandwidth is effectively managed.
Ensure all design work aligns with the brand guidelines and delivers consistent messaging across all platforms.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and other departments to develop compelling visual content for campaigns and projects.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of design outputs.
Troubleshoot design issues and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.
Stay current with design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.
Propose and implement new design strategies to enhance the visual presence of the company.

Who You Are

Passionate about Frank & Eileen and our mission.

8 years of professional graphic design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or similar majors, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience managing design teams and delivering large-scale projects.

Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work across various mediums (print, digital, branding, etc.).

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.

Illustration skills a plus.

Proficiency in web design and development tools (Shopify experience a plus).

Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) a plus.

Familiarity with design project management tools.

Strong organizational and time management abilities, with experience managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.

Ability to communicate project requirements clearly to both team members and stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.

A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions.

Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns.

Able to own a project from start to finish, working autonomously, but welcoming feedback and collaboration.

Resilient - comfortable and confident with ambiguity.

Adaptable and Nimble - able to handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.

Problem solver - with an analytical and inquisitive mind.

Initiative - a self-starter and looks for areas needing improvement.

Compensation

Salary Range of $90,000-$100,000
