Let’s take a closer look at the role of a Merchandiser/Sales Rep to determine if this opportunity is right for you!
As a Merchandiser/Sales Rep, you will be responsible for the merchandising of product including restocking shelves, rotating stock, building displays and replenishing displays, as well as completing product orders to ensure sufficient inventory.
Here's more of what you will do:
- Stock shelves, rebuild displays and prepare all other shopping areas for consumer purchase.
- Place orders for products in selected large format retail accounts each week.
- Place and replace all POS materials to assure effectiveness and accuracy.
- Rotate product to ensure all quality standards are maintained and achieved.
- Ensures proper pricing is posted on shelves and displays.
- Keep backroom and inventory areas clean and organized.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships in assigned accounts.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with store manager.
- Keep updated and current record of store contacts.
- Implement and execute the monthly volume, distribution and merchandising goals.
- Communicate with customers in a timely manner through call, email or text.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with management on customer needs, problems, interests and competitive activities.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Sales merchandising related work experience or a minimum f 1 year related experience preferable within the beverage industry.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before customers and employees.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
- Must have a valid Class C driver's license with a driving record that meets the Company's standards and vehicle insurance requirements.
- Requires drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, lunge, stretch, crouch, or crawl.
- Required to lift up to 50lbs. frequently with or without a hand truck.
- Ability to push up to 250lbs with the use of a two wheel hand cart.
- Ability to lift 30lbs to overhead level.
- Ability to climb a ladder or step stool.
Potential candidates are required to successfully complete a medical evaluation including a physical evaluation designed to test ability to perform basic physical job requirements.
