The On-Premise Sales Representative will establish and maintain professional sales relationships with key accounts within the assigned territory(s). This person should present themselves with integrity, professionalism and commitment to Frank Beverage Group salesperson responsibilities and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Secure and expand distribution in assigned account base
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with on-premise accounts
- Assist customers with inventory management (product availability/new product placement, rotation of stock, promotions, sales trends)
- Exhibit discipline and resourcefulness to meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives
- Participate in sales meetings and on-site trainings
- Interact respectfully and maintain communication with inter-company departments (merchandisers and delivery drivers) as well as customers and suppliers
- Flexibility in hours which include early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
- Adaptability and ability to assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types on a daily basis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Experience:
- Two years previous sales experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) is preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasion skills
- Goal oriented, focused, and assertive
- Strong knowledge of beer industry and its retail consumers is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills are required (Microsoft Office)
- Reliable car and ability to travel
- Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance is required
- Ability to acquire and maintain necessary liquor sales persons permit
- Ability to acquire and maintain any other permits, licenses, etc... that may be required by the Company
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
- Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp, reach
Equipment:
- May have to use industry tools including pallet jack, box cutter, etc.
