At Frank Calandra Jennmar Services, we are seeking experienced and inexperienced underground coal miners for full-time positions in the Cameron and Dallas, WV areas. These roles come with competitive salary and benefits packages, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
As an underground coal miner, your responsibilities will include general labor, roller and screen changes, belt work, steel sets, overcasts, jacks, seal preparation, pumpable cribs, scoop operating, and bolting. You must be able to pass background and drug & alcohol testing.
Required qualifications include Underground WV Experienced Miner or Apprentice Miner Certification in the state of WV and a valid driver's license. Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays is required.
We offer classes to get certified to work, making it possible for those without certifications to join our team. Competitive salary ranges for experienced (Black Hat) and inexperienced (Red Hat) miners are $27-28/hr and $22-24/hr respectively.
