Mechanic

JENNMAR SERVICES is seeking a mechanic for the Spartanburg and surrounding areas that meet the below criteria.

Payrate - $18-$21 DOE

  • REQUIRED-Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, which must be maintained

Qualifications for Mechanic :

  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics and parts breakdown
  • Ability to complete required paperwork
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Verbal comprehension (understand oral and written communications both general and technical)
  • Communication skills (provide clear instructions / directions)
  • Reasoning skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills)
  • Mechanical aptitude

    • Responsibilities for Mechanic :

  • Perform service / preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair / maintain heavy equipment
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in diesel / gas engines, air brake equipment, running gear and hydraulics
  • Work safely to prevent on the job accidents and injuries
  • Wear protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety-toe boots, or safety glasses
  • Work outside in all weather conditions, in tight spaces,

    • Salary commensurate with experience.
