About the role
The NetSuite Developer is a member of the Information Technology Team and reports to the VP of Operations and Technology. This position will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.
What you"ll do
Developing (80%) includes but not limited to
Creates and implements NetSuite software for business management solutions
Review and manage the organization"s current systems, while planning and executing new strategies
Collaborate with users to understand their business processes and support their optimized use of NetSuite
Manage the project implementation cycle as it relates to systems solutions, including analysis, design, and implementation
Support user requests for new searches, reports, KPI"s and dashboards
Plan, review, and manage change configurations, customization, and 3rd party integration requests
Develop, test, and deploy application extensions
Create and implement change management policies and procedures
Working closely with external and internal project team members to create design specs and gather functional requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Administration (20%) includes but not limited to
Lead system enhancements in NetSuite ERP from design through UAT and go-live
Key member of the team for post go-live optimizations and follow-on development efforts
Support requests for new / update / termination of users / roles
Manage NetSuite integration with internal and external systems
Support and train users on system navigation, and daily task processing
Fully document existing and new customizations and workflows
Manage business process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades
Employ security guardrails to protect data
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Bachelor"s degree in computer science or similar field
3 years professional work experience with some or all of it in a retail distribution environment
5 years NetSuite administration
Strong functional expertise with NetSuite modules that supports core financials and sales order processing
Experience with Inventory and WMS modules
Strong customer focus with demonstrated business process perspective
Self-motivated with the ability to deliver quality results while managing shifting priorities
