What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional- HBTS program position at Frank Olean Center?
THE FRANK OLEAN CENTER IS HIRING!
Our mission is to provide support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to achieve their desired level of integration, independence, and productivity.
The Olean Center is looking for individuals to provide 1:1 support to children who have special needs with mastering goals that have been created by the team and family. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team (clinician, OT, and family support coordinator) providing direct support with goals in home and in the community.
We are currently looking for an HBTS staff to provide support to a children with special needs in the home based setting!
Qualifications for HBTS:
- Applicants applying for the HBTS program must be 19 years.
- Have an associate or be working towards a bachelor’s degree in a similar field or have 2 years’ experience working with children.
- Provide a minimum of 2 references and poses a working knowledge of children and/ or disabilities.
Prior to employment all candidates must:
- Pass a background check.
- All applicants must have a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, safe driving record and access to a dependable vehicle.
- Must have 2 years’ experience working with children with special needs.
- Provide a minimum of 2 references.
For all the available cases, the schedule is during the week includes afternoons and evenings with flexible times.
