- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery display and work areas.
- Prepare and package baked goods according to established standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Provide information about ingredients and food handling practices to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food service operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience operating cash registers and handling cash transactions is beneficial.
- A background in food preparation or café settings is advantageous but not required.
