The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Operations Analyst! This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by applying principles of both STAT and GAAP accounting to prepare financial reports and to analyze financial data.

  • Reviews information in Invoice Cloud and updates the Billing system (NSF, chargebacks, data pump errors).
  • Manages the FWCI Accounting email box.
  • Reviews accounts & policies eligible for refunds, creates upload of vendors and vouchers into Freedom, add notes to Billing before and after, print invoices.
  • Creates macros to create the upload files for both the vendors and the vouchers from the data that comes out of Instec. 
  • Works with Claims and Legal teams for the invoices to CCMSI uploads.
  • Reviews audits that haven’t been processed completely yet and provides the list to the audit team monthly. 
  • Reconciles to determine balances due/refunds and works with the paygo vendors to confirm FWC and their records match.
  • Maintains a manual tracking spreadsheet of audit balances on paygos.
  • Sends paygos to collections as needed.
  • Reviews policies that need to have the premium increased and works with Underwriting to have the endorsements done. 
  • Does recons on accounts as requested by BDM and CS. 
  • Creates tickets for incorrect allocation that we can’t fix ourselves. Mike also follows up with IT and reviews replies from Instec.
  • Examines and assesses the workings of an organization to identify and offer solutions to problems, and drafts procedures for improving operations.
  • Receives and secures information by interviewing employees and/or customers, reading reports, analyzing operations, determining project scope, reviewing databases to determine which data are relevant and what methods should be used to analyze them; and describes and records the results and recommendations in reports.
  • Produces practical solutions by describing requirements, studying system or process capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, and preparing system specifications, using statistical analysis, simulation, and optimization.
  • Identifies workflow/system improvements, advises management on the appropriate courses of action, and works with management and the operations team to enact change.
  • Works with analytical teams on highly complex problems, and works with employee teams to assist with implementation of proposals.
  • Develops project estimates by identifying the phases and elements of the project, personnel requirements, and costs.
  • Provides support and help, writes documentation, conducts training to teach employees and/or customers to use new or revised systems, and meets with them after implementation of a new process to determine its effectiveness.
  • Establishes and enforces organization standards, maintaining system integrity and security.
  • Attends educational workshops, reviews professional publications, establishes personal networks, benchmarks state-of-the-art practices, and participates in professional societies in order to maintain professional and technical knowledge.


The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include knowledge of GAAP and STAT accounting. A minimum of one (1) year of related operational accounting experience is needed. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business a plus, high school diploma or equivalent is required.
