We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry and Data Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing orders, reviewing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate data entry into our system. Familiarity with SAP is a must . Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately input and process customer orders in the company’s order management system.
- Review and verify purchase orders for completeness and correctness, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments (sales, logistics, and customer service) to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date order records and manage order statuses, tracking any delays or changes.
- Ensure the correct handling of order discrepancies and follow through with the resolution process.
- Monitor backorder status and communicate accordingly to provide updates as needed.
- Process and update customer order information in SAP (or other ERP systems).
- Collaborate with the team to streamline the order entry process and improve workflow efficiency.
- Assist with customer inquiries related to order status, delivery dates, and product availability.
- Review and resolve any discrepancies in pricing or order details before finalizing orders.
