The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce a new Information Security Specialist position filled with many exciting opportunities! This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by preventing cyber-attacks on information systems and keeping computer information systems secure from interruption of service, intellectual property theft, network viruses, data mining, financial theft, and theft of sensitive customer data

• Installs, configures, and upgrades security software.
• Reviews devices for potential vulnerabilities.
• Monitors network activity, provides early warning of abnormalities or problems, and communicates them to the IT teams.
• Modifies security files to correct errors.
• Reviews security files and determines whether denial of data access reported by users is justified.
• Answers users' questions about information security.
• Sends printouts listing personnel data authorization to computer user departments to verify or correct information in security files.
• Reviews data use records and compares usernames listed in records with personnel authorization to ensure that everyone who accessed data files was entitled to do so.
• Monitors account related detailed logs.
• Monitors tools such as EDR, mail filter, and security training platform.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include knowledge of cybersecurity, including network security, application security, and cloud security. Experience in cybersecurity with a focus on information security and relevant certifications applicable to security operations (CompTIA Security ) is needed. Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
