Hours:
Full Time
Primarily Monday-Friday, 8am β 5pm.
Must be available to work 1-2 weekends per month.
Must be able to work 2-3 holidays per year to assist special Food & Beverage Events.
Must be able to work 1-2 evenings per month for special events, if needed.
Work Performed: The General Cashier/Accounting Clerk I is a member of the Accounting Office and works under the supervision of the Accounting Leadership Team. Primary responsibilities (GENERAL CASHIER) include: preparing bank deposits and cash records, maintaining proper level of currency and coin for operations, and reporting discrepancies or issues of cash security to the Controller or Accounting Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK I) include: gathering, coding, and entering invoices for several Bavarian Inn Lodge corporate properties, preparing and executing payments, and filing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Accounting degree, equivalent work experience, or experience with hospitality PMS or POS software.
Knowledge of adding machine, computer, typewriter, and filing.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create documents and write/edit formulas
Comfortable working with numbers and able to work with confidential information.
Must possess the curiosity and desire to solve accounting problems.
Must work well within a team environment to achieve goals.
