What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender Cashier/Biergarten Server position at FRANKENMUTH BAVARIAN INN LODGE?
HOURS: a. PART TIME: average of 25-30 hours per week, 3 – 5 days per week.
b. May work combination of hours between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
c. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the preparation, serving and beverages at the Biergarten served; maintains stock in the Bar Area; maintains cleanliness of the Bar Area; responsible for the billing and collecting of all food and beverage served in the Dining Room, Bar and Banquet Areas; responsible for the security of all cash and checks; responsible for the security of all beverage items; maintains superior guest service and quality food and beverage items in the Bar.
This position will start with training in Oma’s Restaurant for a 1 – 2 week period prior to bartender training in order to become familiar with the menu.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 months learning period in position to become familiar with wine stock, beer stock and cocktail ingredients. Pleasing personality and personal appearance. Ability to stand for long lengths of time. Good math skills.
