Job Overview
">We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at the FRANKENMUTH BAVARIAN INN LODGE. As a Server, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
">Responsibilities

- Prepare for guest arrival in dining rooms or for private parties by re-arranging tables and chairs as necessary, setting tables with proper condiments and table settings, and checking for special orders and forms of payment. ">
- Serve dinners and beverages to customers and collect payment, promoting menu items and suggesting beverages and appetizers to increase sales. ">
- Assist with setting up private banquet areas, taking food orders in sequence, and ringing up orders on digital dining computers. ">
- Pre-bus tables as needed after each course, take dessert orders and serve desserts, refill beverages and water glasses, and total checks and present them to guests on a tip tray. ">
- Clear tables, sort out usable food, scrape all food off plates into trash cans, and sort and rack dishes neatly on dish tanks. ">
- Administer all sales of alcoholic beverages in accordance with the laws of Michigan and the policies of the Bavarian Inn lodge, checking IDs for legal drinking age and not serving obviously intoxicated persons. ">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you should have:

- At least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent. ">
- Minimum six months of experience in waiting tables to attain knowledge of procedures and areas preferred. ">
- Ability to stand and walk continually, lift trays and other containers of moderate weights up to 50#, and work different schedules and attend monthly and corporate meetings. ">
