Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms, public areas, and hallways.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies, including linens and glasses
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to resolve any issues or concerns
- Manage lost and found articles, including returning items to their rightful owners and shipping unclaimed items
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous supervision experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field; experience at the Bavarian Inn Lodge is highly valued
- Excellent communication and math skills, with the ability to present and participate in meetings
- Proficiency in computer programs necessary for office work
- Able to stand for long periods, bend, reach, stretch, and lift as needed
- Professional appearance and friendly disposition
- Knowledge of the area and local attractions
