Frankfort Regional Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of the Operating Room staff, this individual will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field, instrumentation, and sterile technique during procedures.
About the Role
Working under the direct supervision of the OR nurse, the Surgical Technologist will:
- Maintain the sterile field, instrumentation, and sterile technique during procedures
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedure execution
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech Program or equivalent training
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and/or equipment up to 25 pounds
