Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:?

• You will verify the medical order and procedure.
• You will gather data through PSG studies.
• You will complete and verify documentation.
• You will perform a variety of Sleep Studies, as well as assist in the scoring of those Sleep Studies after a specified period of time.
• You will promote a supportive environment that encourages collegiality.
• You will explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center.
• Sleep Study procedures require rational judgment, as well as associated clerical duties. He/she works to fulfill the hospital and departmental mission, vision, and values.
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved Sleep Disorders program required.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Must have knowledge of healthcare terminology.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
