Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver in our state licensed home. We assist with ADLS for the residents, laundry and housekeeping as well as cooking. The new candidate is needed to provide essential support and assistance to our residents. The shift is Saturday and Sundays 3p-9p. You do not have to have a certication.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in client conditions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare settings such as PICU, Level II Trauma Center, OR, or Emergency medicine is preferred, not required.
- Familiarity with geriatric care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Must have the ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Must pass background checks as required by state regulations.
