What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Specialist position at franklin|architects?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions & complete posting process
- Accounts Payable: Records & Pay Bills according to schedule; Consultant Fees – Set up in BQE CORE (project management software), pay after we receive payment
- Accounts Receivable: Project invoicing – maintain steady flow of invoicing to clients, including consultant fees and reimbursable expenses
Accounting tasks include Financial Reporting, general ledger entries, record payments, adjustments, and account reconciliations
- Credit Cards, Checking Accounts: Project Reimbursements (printing, mileage)
- Assist Supervisor with Employee Onboarding and Payroll
- Assist Supervisor with Insurance Audits, 401(K) Census, etc
Project Administration
- Adding & maintaining projects in QBO, BQE CORE (following detailed steps)
- Consultant Agreements
Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks

AVAILABILITY
Available to start as soon as possible. Full-time (40hours/week), Monday through Friday.
