Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Educate customers on products and services offered by Franklin Building Supply.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the target market.
- Cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing accounts.
- Build trust with customers to create positive experiences and long-term relationships.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions, including value engineering their projects when needed.
- Provide accurate and detailed price quotes and building material estimates from blueprints.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure requests are handled promptly.
- Visit job sites to monitor work progress, identify additional customer needs, and target potential new clients.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and greet all visitors warmly.
- Accurately process customer orders, special requests, and invoices.
- Partner with the Account Coordinator to fulfill special order requirements.
- Adapt to daily schedule changes to address urgent customer needs.
- Handle challenging situations calmly and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
