Franklin Building Supply is a lumber and building material company that has been in business for more than 45 years. We have locations spread across Idaho and one in Nevada.
We supply just about everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. Along with providing materials, we install a wide range of products including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, and more. We also manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Primary purpose : to receive inventory accurately and monitor / maintain count schedules.
Some duties and responsibilities include :
Inventory for Yard
Monitoring and maintaining proper count schedules
Ensuring proper count team members are assigned
Creating and maintaining stock count templates
Activating daily stock counts
Physical counts of all products on templates
Inputting counts into BisTrack & reconciling variances
Sending of final reports with notes for completion
Checking stock for sales and yard personnel
Going through Negative Quantity's on had report
Special Order Return Processing
Identifying special order returns for processing
Inspecting material is up to vendor standards for returning
Tagging and placing material for processing
Communicating with Sales on reasons for returns
Contacting and coordinating with vendors for return
Creating Supplier Returns
Processing RMA's
Maintaining Special Order Bay
Keeping Records of all special-order returns from processing to processed
Crediting customers when material has been credited by Vendor
Important, may be essential depending on specific duties / tasks assigned :
May oversee Will-Call department
Leading will-call team (4 team members)
Assigning team members with tasks and duties
Coordinating paperwork with sales departments
Calling out and dispersing will call paperwork to team members
Directing customer service
Overlooking the safe handling of material and loading methods of customers
Handling customer disputes and customer related issues
Load customer vehicles
Requirements
Required :
Forklift Certified (or become so within 30 days)
The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Able to learn to identify various grades of lumber and building materials
Able to work in inclement weather
Willing to be versatile, self-motivated & team-oriented
Adjust approach to fill demands on the fly
Respect others, friendly and approachable
Represent the company in a way that conveys a good impression to customers
Disciplined to show up on time and complete tasks by deadlines
Willingness to contribute and be flexible to fulfill the needs of the team
