The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to join the Administration team.

What will you do?
Provides administrative support to administrative staff; greets visitors and directs them to appropriate areas/resources; answers telephone calls; checks mail and voicemail and responds to inquiries in a timely manner. Organize and log return mail to ensure records are kept up to date and office correspondence reaches constituents.
Coordinates with PFM to secure any needed office furniture, get unwanted furniture returned to surplus when needed, request patching, painting and electrical issues to be addressed; coordinates deliveries; coordinates office and desk key distribution; coordinates the phone system for the 19th-21st floors.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, photocopying, stocking printers, faxing, filing and taking notes during meetings; orders supplies; receives and sorts mail; responds to general inquiries; creates and maintains logs for vehicle usage; order and maintain ink/toner supply; assist staff in replacement and recycling of used cartridges.
Coordinate with Telecommunications within Data Center to ensure all voicemail and phones are properly set up and operational. Work with the phone team to address any malfunctions that may arise. Maintain phone list for internal office use as well as the county portal.
Oversee and manage projects as directed.
