Facilitates scheduling and teaches structured group swim activities and individual (1:1) swim instruction for school students and outside partner organizations recreational aquatic programs; Lifeguard and ensure safety of everyone in the aquatics center.
Maintains responsibility for monitoring preventive maintenance check of pool equipment, washer/dryers and locker room facilities, and coordinating with vendors to provide repairs/replacement of equipment.
Oversees Aquatics Aide during summer hours for additional deep cleaning in addition to traditional duties; Monitors public access to the pool and building.
Maintains thorough knowledge of aquatics and new developments in the field; Assess students and people served skills in aquatics.
Maintains communication with Immediate Supervisor; Assists in designing in-service training and in developing and adjusting ongoing Aquatics Therapy curriculum.
Flexes schedule based on schedules and programming during the school year and during summer programming.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay:
Non-Degreed Pay Range: $20.14 - $24.08/hr
Degreed Pay Range: $24.41 - $29.28/hr

- Water Safety Instructor Certification; Life Saving Certification

- must meet and maintain Board/Ohio School Plan insurability standards for driving
