What You Will Do – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process Identity Management tickets including Moves, Adds, Changes, and Inactivations.
- Process requests for Security Reviews of applications and websites. Audits Role Based Access Control of Applications and systems.
- Developing and documenting security procedures, collaborating with security teams to response to unwanted intrusions, participate in audits, identifying network security weaknesses.
- Responsible for establishing and enforcing security standards and best practices within an organization.
- Assists in the response and recovery process.
- Coordinates with SOC and incident response teams to mitigate breach impacts.
*Position is subject to call-in during non-working hours as necessary. Participates in after-hours on call rotation.

What will make you successful:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science; 12 months training or 12 months experience in computer data security either through monitoring system/network traffic for anomalous activity, systems development or controlling accessibility of data. Or_ 12 months experience as Information Technology Apprentice, 69910; successful completion of Ohio Cyber Apprenticeship program; additional 12 months training or experience in Information Systems/Information Technology with a focus in one of the following areas: Software Engineering/Development, Data Analytics/Business Intelligence, Database Administration, Network, IT Security, and Help Desk/Customer Support. Or_ equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a government agency or in a larger Information Technology organization.
- Ability to transport items up to 50lbs.
- Security
- GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA PenTest
Experience in the following enterprise systems:
- SharePoint, ServiceNow, OnBase, Kronos, SACWIS, MUNIS
Certifications or Licensure:
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License required.
