Franklin County Civil Service is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the position of Tourism Recreation Coordinator. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting County Tourism and supporting local businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including planning, oversight, and implementation. They will be able to effectively work with outside agencies to improve County Tourism and have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the implementation of the County's multi-use Trails Master Plan
- Identifies, writes, and administers grants related to tourism
- Monitors and maintains records of grant-related funds
- Manages administrative functions of numerous recreational clubs
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (e.g. public administration, business administration)
- At least one year of experience in project management or grant procurement and administration
- Valid NYS Driver's License required
