We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Tourism Recreation Coordinator at Franklin County Civil Service. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote County Tourism and support local businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including planning, oversight, and implementation. They will be able to effectively work with outside agencies to improve County Tourism and have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the implementation of the County's multi-use Trails Master Plan
- Identifies, writes, and administers grants related to tourism
- Monitors and maintains records of grant-related funds
- Manages administrative functions of numerous recreational clubs
Key Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (e.g. public administration, business administration)
- At least one year of experience in project management or grant procurement and administration
- Valid NYS Driver's License required
