Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for improving County Tourism through effective collaboration with outside agencies.
- Collaborate with sports, recreation, and entertainment groups to attract, promote, and host events within the County, fostering economic growth and development.
- Work closely with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation on trail grooming schedules, volunteer stewardship agreements, and volunteer work.
- Manage the administrative functions of multiple recreational clubs within the County, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for special events, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance.
- Maintain accurate records of grant-related fund expenditures, ensuring proper use and maximizing reimbursement from funding sources.
Requirements
- A degree in a related field, such as public administration, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in project management, grant procurement, and administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
