What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at Franklin County Memorial Hospital?
We’re seeking motivated individual to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to employees and assist in maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
· Respond to and resolve IT support tickets
· Set up and configure computer hardware, software, and network devices
· Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems
· Assist with basic network troubleshooting
· Document technical processes and maintain inventory records
· Carry out special tasks at IT director and Senior Network Admin’s direction
· Interact with staff as required
· Provide after hours support as well as weekend maintenance on a rotation basis
· Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
· Associates degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
· Basic understanding of computer hardware software, and networks
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
· Comp TIA A certification
· Familiarity with Windows operating systems
Basic knowledge of network protocols and security practices
