As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within correctional facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing inmates and ensuring compliance with facility rules and regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor inmate activities to prevent disturbances and escapes
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
- Conduct inspections for contraband items
- Escort inmates within the facility for various activities
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility promptly
- Document all incidents, conduct investigations, and write reports
Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must possess a diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a background check
