Position Summary
Franklin Dental Care and Dentures is seeking a Production Assistant to support the seamless execution of our video productions, outreach events, and community engagement initiatives. This role involves assisting with video shoots, setting up equipment, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. The Production Assistant will work closely with our Videographer, Outreach Coordinator, and marketing team to help create impactful educational content and public health materials.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in media production, event coordination, and healthcare outreach.
Salary and Compensation: $17-$25/hr

Objectives
Event & Outreach Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing at least 15 community outreach events per month.
- Set up and break down booths, presentation areas, and educational displays.
- Organize dental kits, promotional materials, and supplies for events.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content (photos and videos) to document outreach efforts.
Media Production Support:
- Assist the Videographer with setting up cameras, lighting, and microphones during shoots.
- Manage cables, props, and equipment to ensure smooth filming.
- Help coordinate on-camera talent (patients, staff, and community members).
- Maintain an organized system for media files, project storage, and asset backups.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Track and maintain inventory of branded dental kits, marketing materials, and event supplies.
- Assist in ordering and organizing production gear for media projects.
- Ensure all outreach materials are properly labeled and distributed.
Administrative & Communication Tasks:
- Respond to emails and follow up on event logistics within 24 hours.
- Ensure all KPI and metric tracking forms are completed for outreach and media projects.
- Assist with fundraising efforts, sponsorship outreach, and donation tracking.
Competencies
Logistics & Organization:
- Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts in event and production planning.
- Experience handling supply chain management for outreach programs.
Communication & Team Collaboration:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with community members, volunteers, and team members.
Technical & Media Support:
- Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and cloud storage systems.
Data & KPI Tracking:
- Ability to maintain organized spreadsheets and records.
- Experience with Google Forms, event tracking, and performance metrics.
Education and Experience
Preferred:
- High school diploma (Required)
- Associate’s degree or certification in media production, public health, event management, or nonprofit operations (Preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, production assistance, or nonprofit work
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
- Experience working with nonprofits or community outreach programs.
- Previous social media content creation experience.
- Knowledge of basic video editing software (iMovie, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment for 4 hour periods.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments (regardless of weather).
- Ability to bend, carry, and transport supplies as needed
