Position Summary
Franklin Dental Care and Dentures is seeking a Videographer to capture and produce high-quality video content for community education, outreach events, social media marketing, and patient resources. The Videographer is expected to film, edit, and manage video projects that support our mission of improving oral health awareness and attracting more patients to Franklin Dental Care and Dentures. This role requires strong technical skills in camera operation, lighting, and post-production editing, as well as creativity in storytelling and content development.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional who can effectively execute video production, manage media assets, and collaborate with our outreach team to create impactful educational content.
Salary and Compensation: $19-$25/hr

Objectives:
Content Creation & Production:
- Capture and produce high-quality video content for outreach, education, and marketing.
- Film interviews, patient testimonials, educational videos, community events, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all footage meets quality and branding standards for company-wide distribution.
Post-Production & Editing:
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Apply color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitles as needed.
- Optimize videos for social media, website integration, and email marketing campaigns.
Project & Team Coordination:
- Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator and Marketing Team to align video projects with company goals.
- Assist in storyboarding, scripting, and developing video concepts.
- Maintain an organized file storage system for all video assets.
Community Engagement & Social Media:
- Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop educational video series on preventative dental care, dental procedures, and running a service based business.
- Support live streaming and virtual events when needed.
Equipment & Technical Management:
- Manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment for optimal production quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth video shoots.
- Keep all media files, footage, and assets organized and backed up.
Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with social media video formats and best practices.
Communication & Storytelling:
- Ability to direct on-camera talent (patients, staff, community members).
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
Project Management & Organization:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in file organization, archiving, and cloud-based storage.
Education and Experience:
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in professional videography or media production.
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
- Experience with drone videography (FAA Part 107 license is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects, Canva, CapCut).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and operate equipment for 4 hours.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and transport video equipment (up to 40 lbs).
