Description
Responsible for designing, testing, and verifying power electronics hardware for VFDs including power supplies, power factor correction (PFC) circuits, and 3-phase inverters. Additional areas of focus include hardware design for embedded systems, wired and wireless communications, analog circuits, PCB layout, and component selection. Provides additional technical support as needed.
This role will start in May of 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product development and innovation projects.
- Create hardware simulations of existing and new designs in MATLAB and Spice tools.
- Update existing products with new design standards and technology.
- Design and validate standard hardware designs.
- Develop standard validation tests procedures for common circuits.
- Complete product testing as needed using industry standard test equipment.
- Assists in analyzing returned materials.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
